Lasting Impressions
My first impression this game was "Wow!" It's so fun to play and well designed. I recommend that everyone should at least try it once, but a word of warning, like a bad habit, it's hard to put down once you start.

It would be awesome to play this game on my Nintendo DS, or have it as downloadable content for Nintendo Wii. The gameplay style fits perfectly. It's so amazing to me that I haven't seen any large publishers come out with a game like this. Then again, it's hard to believe that a large publisher didn't make this game. It's so well designed.

Style and Gameplay
The simplistic style in design is offset by beautiful effects. The score system and game mechanics easily makes this game an addictive arcade style hit with a classic feel. It reminds me of one of those old snake games that I might've played on Atari, but just because this game feels familar doesn't mean it's easy. Just like any good classic arcade game, this game is fun, easy to play, but hard to master. While playing, there's this constant thought of "Should I get that last jewel, or just go into the portal? ...Darn my adventurous ways."

This game doesn't have many bad points. However, there are a few things that could be better.

There may have been many people who knew exactly how to play from the start. Perhaps they read the artist comments. However, I am one of the 'slow ones'. When I first played, I kept dying over and over, but I didn't know why. I didn't know that my game character was the mouse pointer. I believe this fact could be better clarified.

Perhaps your cursor would become something different once the game begins. Or maybe when the game gives you those prelimenary directions like "go into the portal to complete the level" it should also include "with your cursor."

Another thing that could make this game better is the ability to check the high score list without leaving the game.

This game gets an A+. The learning curve required to play is relatively short. I can be fun to young people and the old folks, and it's pretty. Everyone should give it a go.:D

This game is great! It's addictive and I'm suprised Nintendo didn't bring out this due to the amazing graphics and game play. I love the way you've made even the 'Easy' very challenging, and addictive. Which brings you to the conclusion, "I MUST GET INTO THE PORTAL. THE PORTAAALLLL! NOOOOOOO!!!". It also shows patience as you wait for your turn to go, and speed which you most defentially need to get it through. Playing this game makes you feel like a ninja - LOVE IT!

I'm new to Flash, and it's always good to start with a basic maze game. I tried stationary objects like walls, it works (if the mouse hits it, you lose), but it doesn't seem to work with moving objects (tried putting a moving movieclip in a button then add a rollover code)

Just curious, how did you get the game to detect that you hit MOVING objects, like the boxes? Thanks in advance

Whoops nevermind, i got it working :D
Still haven't found a way to create a similar point system though, ah well
